Common questions
You can have up to 5 active links on the free plan. If you hit the limit, you can delete a link to free up a slot and create a new one — but 5 active links is the maximum at any time. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited links.
If you set an expiration date when creating the link, it automatically stops working after that date. Open the link details to check its status — you can extend or remove the expiration to reactivate it.
An open is recorded each time someone successfully loads your short link. If the link is password-protected, only successful entries count — failed password attempts are not tracked.
We show the country and device type of each open, but we never identify individuals. Your visitors stay anonymous.
Yes — Pro subscribers can set a custom short code like vrly.app/my-name when creating a link. Custom codes that get fewer than 30 opens in 30 days may be reclaimed.
If you set a max opens limit, the link automatically stops working once that number is reached.
With Pro, you can add a password to any link. Visitors see a password prompt before they can reach the destination. Only successful entries are counted as opens.
Go to Settings → Notifications, turn on Push Notifications, then pick what you want: First Open Alerts (once per link), Weekly Summary, and—with Pro—Smart Alerts and Daily Summary. Verlyn doesn't notify you for every open.
Yes. Deleting a link permanently removes it along with all its open history. This cannot be undone.
In Verlyn, go to Settings → Account → Manage Subscription, then tap Restore Purchases. On your iPhone, you can also open the Settings app, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, and confirm that Verlyn appears with an active subscription. If you still need help, email support@verlyn.app
